Lighting of Geerenstrasse in 8302 Kloten, Switzerland, in cooperation with Glattal Installationen AG
The project at Geerenstrasse in 8302 Kloten is an impressive example of the application of our classic LIBRE CIRCLE 2.0®. The architecture of the building was designed by the architectural community 4plus architects & moos giuliani herrmann architects. The LIBRE CIRCLE 2.0® for lighting with its circular shape expands the straight lines dominating the building’s design language.
The LIBRE CIRCLE 2.0® is made of high-quality polycarbonate; it contains a classically modern diffuser with a UV-resistant surface that guarantees homogeneous and glare-free illumination. It is available in white, silver and black. To meet individual design requirements, other RAL colours can be realised on request.
For this project, the DALI version with a diameter of 400 mm was used, which makes it possible to control the lighting centrally, and in extreme cases even each luminaire individually; in this way, the functions such as switching on and off, brightness control and other settings can be controlled by means of the motion and daylight sensors positioned throughout the object.
This project is an example of a successful symbiosis between innovative lighting technology and attractive architectural design. With LIBRE CIRCLE 2.0® and the integration of the DALI control system, a sustainable and efficient lighting solution has been created here. Aesthetics and functionality are thus combined and meet the highest demands.
